Earth Day celebrtaion

I am a member of the Euro Club, where we engage in various social work in our school. Today is Earth Day, so we decided to tell children, who are learning in first grade, about what day it is and what significance it has. I was pleasantly surprised by how many ideas to save our nature was suggested by the children. It was just incredibly cool! Because these kids are already aware of the importance of environmental conservation. Many students suggested rational use of water, light, and not to litter. But one boy said about filters that purify the air that need to be installed at the factory. It so surprised me that in such a small age, children think about these global issues. It's cool, because they are our future!
And at the end of our Earth Day the children left the imprints of their palms on the tree of peace, which symbolizes the unification of all people for the sake of one big goal. And this goal is the protection of our planet.
